RSI Bank supports Rahway Emergency Services

February 10, 2020

RSI Bank recently made $30,000 in charitable donations to the City of Rahway’s Fire Department, Police Department and First Aid Squad, to support and enhance their abilities to respond to emergencies and better serve the community.

Rahway Fire Department plans to use RSI Bank’s donation to complete the construction of a drill tower that will be used to help train firefighters for various rescue scenarios in a safe setting. In years past, Rahway Police Department has used donations from RSI Bank to purchase rescue equipment related to its comprehensive emergency response plan, which was developed after severe flooding caused by tropical storm Irene in 2011.

The Rahway First Aid Squad has provided professional emergency care to the citizens of Rahway since 1951.  The Squad has been recognized for outstanding emergency medical services, as well as its active role in the community.
