RSI Bank donates to food pantries and hospital during pandemic
May 6, 2020
In early May 2020, RSI Bank made donations totaling $30,000 to food pantries in Rahway and Woodbridge and to RWJ University Hospital - Rahway to support emergency services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
RSI Bank made a $10,000 donation to Rahway Food for Friends, an organization operating a food pantry and soup kitchen in Rahway, NJ, as well as a $10,000 donation to We Feed Woodbridge, which supports a network of food pantries in Woodbridge, NJ. Food banks have seen a significant increase in demand as the COVID-19 crisis continues. Both organizations do critical work providing food assistance, free meals, and outreach to needy families and individuals. Thank you to all who work to help those in need.
When we asked how RSI Bank could support RWJ University Hospital – Rahway and its staff during this time of crisis, we learned a contribution to the hospital’s emergency fund would be greatly appreciated. The fund is used to purchase crucial emergency care supplies and personal protective equipment. We are pleased to donate $10,000 to support the fund. Thank you to RWJ University Hospital – Rahway for providing critical care to our local community.
